Ordering repeat prescriptions
The easiest ways to order repeat prescriptions are:
- Using the NHS App PLEASE NOTE: This is for REPEAT prescriptions only
- Using the GP online system: SystmOnline
- For prescriptions that ARE NOT REPEAT, you can use the ADMIN QUERY option on our online services (select ‘something else’)
- Or by visiting the practice
Collecting your prescription
Your prescription will be ready for collection at the surgery, or at your nominated pharmacy 5 working days later.
If you would like your prescription sent to a pharmacy of your choice, please ask about Nominating a Pharmacy at reception.
If you prefer, we can post your prescription back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope) and you can then take it yourself to a pharmacy of your choice.
Questions about your prescription
If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these. They can also answer questions on medicines you can buy without a prescription.
The NHS website has information on how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.
