TRIAGE ARRIVES AT COBBS GARDEN SURGERY

We are delighted to announce that we will be using a Clinical Triage system from Monday the 4th of November 2024.

There are many benefits for using this system :

  • Trained clinicians will plan the most appropriate appointment for you, ensuring you are seen by the ‘right person’ at the ‘right time’.
  • There will be a reduction in the pressures at 8am, where telephone requests, walk ins, or online forms will all be managed in the same triage system, allowing patients to choose their preferred way to easily contact us.
  • More routine appointments will be available to book into, with the plan to have 6 weeks of rotas to book ahead on to at any time.
  • Medical requests and administration enquiries will be managed more efficiently, minimising risk of lost communication.

Please do give us a little time to settle in to the new system and be patient during the first weeks – although we are hoping this will be as seamless as possible. Feedback (good and bad) will be essential for us to improve our system and we would love you fill in the Friends and Family forms that we have.

If you have any questions about the new Triage System, we are holding a Presentation and Q&A session at The Olney Centre on Tuesday the 29th of October between 10am – 12 noon where all patients are welcome to pop along.
