Travel Vaccinations

If you are planning to travel abroad, please submit your Travel Risk Assessment Form at least 8 weeks before your departure date.

All travel health requests require a clinical review before an appointment can be arranged. Due to high demand, this review process may take several weeks. In addition, some travel vaccines take up to 4 weeks to build full immunity and may require multiple doses.

If you contact the surgery less than 8 weeks before you travel, there may not be enough time to arrange an appointment or complete any recommended vaccination course before your departure.

To help ensure you receive the appropriate travel advice and vaccinations, we strongly encourage you to submit your travel form as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. Please do not leave your request until the last minute.
